Accelerators have put some of our generation’s most influential companies on the map.
These programs support founders as they build their products and brands, and increase their chances of successful fundraising. But they also provide them with advocates and mentors—which female founders tell us is their biggest need aside from financial capital.
So we asked ourselves: what if we could make accelerators more accessible, helping women in tech expand their networks in meaningful ways?
Inspired by the Female Founder Office Hours launched by leading VCs in Fall 2017, the inaugural Accelerator Office Hours will provide female founders with access to leading accelerator operators for a night of structured networking.
Our goal: To activate the accelerator community as a way to lay the groundwork for a more diverse, inclusive, and accessible tech ecosystem in New York City and beyond.
R/GA Ventures is the investment and innovation arm of global digital agency R/GA. Since 2013, we’ve helped startups build their products and brands, and worked with industry leaders to embrace innovation. As part of our ongoing efforts to support women in tech, we organize events, panels, and roundtables to foster honest conversations in attempt to level the playing field.
